Meet Your Tour Guide

David serves part-time as a Christian Museum Guide offering tours at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. He became a Christian at age seven, and he has been a tour guide since he came into contact with IAC at the 2023 International Conference on Creationism. One woman who took his tour told him that in the past she had not enjoyed or seen value in the Smithsonian, but David’s tour opened her eyes to being able to view exhibits from the Christian perspective and now says she enjoys visiting the museum. He was also a volunteer docent/tour guide at the Museum of the Bible, providing weekend tours on the Bible’s manuscript evidence throughout the centuries. David finds it rewarding to share the truth about God’s creation through his tours, with folks of all ages and backgrounds. He strives to engage the prevailing conventional scientific theories with a respect and seriousness required for effective lasting engagement.

David loves that Washington DC draws visitors from many different cultures, and that the city’s many museums bring people together. He enjoys coin collecting, tennis, skiing, reading and traveling to historic sites. He learned to drive in a green 1929 Model A Ford that he helped fix up himself. David works for the Small Business Administration helping American small businesses gain access to resources for growth and expansion. He is passionate about Biblical chronology and giving others a solid faith foundation through his tours, which creates an enriching, faith-strengthening experience.
