Meet Your Tour Guide
Jake is a Christian Museum Guide at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. He has been fascinated by creation and evolution from a young age and is passionate about helping others see the natural world through the truth of God’s Word. He speaks, writes, and teaches about biblical creation and organized Springfield’s first creation conference. His love of wildlife and creation science has given him opportunities to share his faith while encouraging others to explore the remarkable design and diversity found throughout God’s creation.
Jake lives in Springfield, Massachusetts, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in zoology from Union University. While there, he participated in research on alligators and icheneumonid wasps, including the discovery of new wasp species in the Great Smoky Mountains. He later taught science and history at Pioneer Valley Christian Academy and is pursuing a career in conservation with the state of Connecticut. Jake enjoys combining his scientific background with his passion for creation and sharing what he learns through speaking, teaching, and writing.
