Meet Your Tour Guide
Duane is a Christian Museum Guide at the Milwaukee Public Museum. He grew up aware of Christianity, but it was not central to his life, and in high school he decided he was agnostic. The summer before he went to college, he was threatened by a gunman in a parking lot while on vacation. He miraculously escaped unharmed and decided that a God must have protected him, but he still did not know who God was. After college he found himself working a desk job and wondering about his purpose in life, and he turned to the Bible for answers and came to believe the gospel.
Duane has a strong passion for proving the Bible is true, which began when he first read the gospels searching for his purpose. In 2003, he made a CD with resources to convince his coworkers of the truth of the Bible’s creation story, and he has been defending creation ever since. He has a blog, Rational Faith, and he also gives creation talks. His knowledge and passion gives tour takers evidence to believe more deeply and share their faith with others.
