Meet Your Tour Guide
Scott is a Christian Museum Guide at the St. Louis Zoo in St. Louis, Missouri. Having become a Christian in 1998 after seeing the transformation in his wife’s life and being confronted with the truth of God’s Word. Initially skeptical of the biblical account of Noah’s Flood, he found that creation apologetics helped open his eyes to the reliability of Scripture and, ultimately, his need for a Savior in Jesus Christ. Since then, Scott has been passionate about helping others trust God’s Word from the very first verse. He has taught on biblical creation since 2001, became a speaker for Missouri Association for Creation in 2009, and began leading zoo tours in 2012, while joining the MAC leadership board in 2023, and becoming a Christian Museum Guide in 2024.
Scott has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri S&T) and works as a senior application and estimating engineer designing material handling systems. He and his wife of more than forty years attend Fellowship of Wildwood, where Scott co-leads a small group, and they are parents of four homeschool graduates. Scott enjoys studying God’s Word and the creation-evolution debate and finds it especially rewarding to help others see God’s creation through the truth of Scripture.
